SHAKA is a 48’ Cheoy Lee Sportfisher. She’s packed with power and fully equipped with beautiful interiors to make your stay comfortable and accessible. Go fishing, spear fishing, diving, or simply enjoy a beautiful sunset on the bow. Make unforgettable memories with your friends and family and have a completely customized experience.
All Sides of SHAKA
SHAKA is designed and equipped with a large salon, full galley, has two full bathrooms, double bunk area mid ship, triple bunk area in the fore and master suite on the starboard mid-section, the entire interior is fully air conditioned. The back deck is fully equipped with 10 rod holders, outriggers, fighting chair, bait station, freezer and throttle and transmission controls. The fly bridge is equipped with two captain’s chairs and two large bench seats, 5 rod holders, teaser lines and two of the latest Simard technology 12” screens with CIRP sonar for fishing, autopilot, 72 mi radius radar, Lowrance chart plotter and iPad Navionics relief shading maps, two VHF radios along with EPIRB and life raft.
We use only the best professional fishing equipment made, all of our reels are PENN International II, Avit, Okuma and Lindgren Pitman. What that means to the angler is that we have never had an equipment failure yet in over 40 years fishing!
Meet Kim and David!
David and Kim are native Texans who fell in love with Cozumel, the local people and the island life. Their passion for the water drove their desire to have a boat on the most beautiful water in the world and now to share that passion with others. They spent 7 months living on Shaka and experiencing life from Jacksonville, Florida to Cozumel—they took the long way around! Both are experienced captains and are excited to offer this adventure to you, your family and your friends.
